The stream of pilgrims to Kiev, Pochaev, Optina Hermitage, Diveevsky Convent of St. Seraphim, Solovki has never ceased in Russia. Nowadays people use new vehicles but the motive remains the same. It is a powerful aspiration of the soul to the holy places where people can strengthen their faith, receive answers to their important questions.

Pilgrimage is a special state of soul when a man turns to God and His saints with a desire to get rid of the net of sins, troubles and sufferings, to save the soul from the stony insensibility, to open the soul to the Grace of God. And that's the reason of such an aspiration to spiritual places: to quiet monasteries, to ancient monks, to the streets of the Cross Way of Our Savior...
